Ettie Lee Youth & Family Services has helped children & families for over 60 years. You can be a part of our continuing efforts to make a difference! 

We offer our employees medical and dental benefits, group term life insurance, paid time off and a 403(b) retirement program. Ettie Lee observes 11 paid holidays annually. All employees, with the exception of contract workers, are eligible for these benefits. Specific details regarding qualifications for benefits are outlined in Ettie Lee’s Personnel Manual. 
 
Ettie Lee also provides employees the opportunity for professional growth and advancement within the organization. Extensive training is provided for child care workers prior to them working with the children. Ongoing training and a commitment to excellence are hallmarks of the Ettie Lee philosophy. We are always striving to find new and innovative ways to help children & families.
Code of Ethics

Rules of Professional Conduct Adopted by the Board of Directors of Ettie Lee Youth and Family Services on April 26, 2001  

The following Rules are intended to regulate the professional conduct of all agency employees and to promote respect and confidence in those social service programs provided by the agency. They are also intended to achieve in the agency's employees the highest level of commitment and care for those individuals the agency serves. Each employee brings unique gifts and talents to Ettie Lee Youth and Family Services, which are for the benefit of others. Each employee therefore agrees to follow the following ethical canons:
  • An Employee shall provide a safe, caring and homelike environment for all youth subject to his or her care and safekeeping. 
  • An Employee shall show respect and dignity for all youth and staff by being attentive to their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. 
  • An Employee shall serve as a model of positive behavior values are internalized when observed. 
  • An Employee shall foster hope, trust and confidence by respectful dialogue. 
  • An Employee shall accept the agency's youth and their families and redirect those behaviors which may be harmful to them or others. 
  • An Employee shall at every opportunity praise rather than blame.  
  • An Employee shall actively contribute to the self worth, self confidence and uniqueness of the agency's youth so they will be encouraged to set their own goals. 
  • An Employee shall work to prepare the agency's youth to become self supporting, contributing members of their respective communities. 
  • An Employee shall at the end of each day, remember to appreciate the agency's youth, staff and himself by acknowledging each others gifts and talents.
